Great Ideas of Humanity, designers who are chosen by the jury to design are prompted to take a “great idea” or inspirational quote and create a visual poster as a response.

Project Details:

When asked to make a poster highlighting the importance of making the world a better place through thoughtful design, the mission statement of my alma mater, Dominican University, came to mind. “As a Sinsinawa-sponsored institution, Dominican University prepares students to pursue truth, to give compassionate service, and to participate in the creation of a more just and humane world.” Thus, major themes seen through my poster included the diversity of the university’s student body, recognizable Dominican iconography, and color palette.
