Candle & Rose Ceremony Mask Design – Symbolic Iconography
In celebration of the 2021 Candle & Rose ceremony, I created symbolic iconography for custom face masks, honoring the university’s values of Caritas (charity) and Veritas (truth). Designed during the return to in-person gatherings, the artwork aimed to capture a sense of resilience and unity. The rose, representing charity, served as a reminder of community care during the pandemic, while the candle—symbolizing truth—offered a quiet strength, illuminating the faces of graduating students in a meaningful final moment.
